Trizanne Barnard does not have her own vineyards, but rather sources and selects specific blocks (from two very diverse wine regions – Elim and the Swartland), where she can be involved in the process from grape growing through to making the wines. Previous to her 4 years at Klein Constantia, she worked in Australia, Portugal and France, gaining invaluable experience with very different climates, grapes and vintages. Join us to taste her “TSW” range wines this Friday 21 September (3pm – 6pm).
Now in Stock: ‘More graceful than the 2012 – although that was a smashing wine in it own right – the fifth vintage of Chris Keet’s exceptional, small volume Bordeaux style blend is elegance and perfume in a glass. Savoury spice, tobacco and floral aromas, berry fruit, tangy acidity and very subtle wooding: this is the work of a brilliant winemaker and blender. 2018-28’ – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2017, 95/100 .
